Origin Transport runs a tight ship with 25 trucks, and sometimes our full-timers need coverage. That's where you come in. We're building a small roster of experienced CDL-A professionals who can step into a truck on short notice and handle business like they've been here for years.
This isn't about building a career with us – it's about mutual respect and benefit. You keep your skills sharp and earn solid money when you want it. We get a pro who can handle our dedicated refrigerated routes without missing a beat.
Typical scenario: We call Tuesday, you're rolling by Thursday/Friday. Run 1-2 weeks of solid miles (origin-to-origin routes, none of that random bounce-around nonsense), then you're done until you want to work again. No meetings, no corporate culture stuff, no pressure to take the next call.

- Quick & Clean: 48-72 hours notice typical, direct deposit, no hassle
- 3,200-3,800 miles/week when you're running (same high-quality routes as full-timers)
- Refrigerated dedicated freight – consistent lanes, professional operation
- Valid CDL-A with clean MVR (last 3 years minimum)
- 5+ years OTR experience (you need to be plug-and-play ready)
- Refrigerated freight experience strongly preferred
- Winter driving skills non-negotiable (Idaho and Nevada routes)
- Pass background check and drug test (standard DOT requirements)
- Available within 48-72 hours when you accept an assignment
- Complete 1-2 week assignments once committed (we're counting on you)
