Here is a beautiful 76 XLH Iron Head Sportster. This bike had an engine-in restoration about 23 years ago. I bought the bike from a widow in Southern Utah. Someone broke into her garage and vandalized the bike. They broke the speedometer tach and ruined the seat. We did a plug off on the tach drive and put a new mustang seat on it and painted it a 3-tone pearl Dupont Chroma-base as pictured. This bike has never been layed over. The frame doesn't have so much as a ding in it. The engine fins don't have any cracks or chips. It is an all numbers matching bike that was fast fun and goodlooking. Several months ago, I decided to do an engine-out restoration. The frame has been completely sanded down and painted with House of Color Ultra Black urethane. I went ahead and put a set of rings in the engine, just because I had it out, and then I got some bad news from my doctor. So, it is being sold as pictured. It's 100% complete other than the speedo and the tach. Would make a great restoration or bobber project. Check out the brake linings-pads, they are the originals. This bike had 7600 miles on it when we bought it. It has only had couple hundred miles on it since and has always been garaged. Very dry, straight bike. A little surface rust on the spoke nipples and a few spokes. I put new Avons on it 23 years ago. It also includes a new Malory electronic ignition kit, still new in the box, and other new dress-up parts, as pictured. I was going to do a Mikuni carb conversion, and sale includes one excellent carb and a parts carb and the original carb. Clear clean title in hand. All in all a nice classic Sportster at a great price.
