bicycle type: mountain
frame size: Large
wheel size: 27.5 in
bicycle frame material: aluminum
make / manufacturer: GT
model name / number: Fury
I built this bike up in the winter of 2022 based on a brand new 2015 GT Fury World Cup frame. The frame was bought new from a GT dealer, it was an extra frame GT kept around for warranty replacements, but this frame never got used. I rode this bike last season at Targhee, Jackson Hole, and Bogus Basin. In general, it’s heavy and a little awkward at low speed, but is very stable on steep fast terrain. I’m selling because I’m going back to just trail riding, I’ve got a knee injury from a few ski seasons ago and broke my heal bone this year already in a crash so I’m retiring from lift served mtb.

Frame is size Large. I think this would fit riders from 5’10” to 6’4” with the bike being larger for a smaller rider and smaller for a larger rider. I am 6’2” and was comfortable on the bike.

The frame, wheels, drive train, and brakes are all in excellent condition. I bought the suspension used and it’s in good condition. The rear suspension is a cane creek double barrel with a 400 lb light weight spring. I bought it from someone who serviced it in 2021. The rockshox boxxer front fork has a charger damper and medium coil spring. I believe it’s a 2017 boxxer team. It still feels smooth and isn’t leaking oil, but it could probably use a service. Other components making up the bike are listed below:
• Rims are Spank 359, front hub NS Bike, Sun Ringle Jumping Flea Rear Hub. Rims are tubeless ready, but not currently setup for that, the bike has tubes and regular rim tape. Wheels were built at Fitzgeralds bikes in Idaho Falls.
• Tires are in very good shape, Maxxis Shorty with DH casing
• Zee rear derailleur (10 speed) with Deore shifter
• Zee front and rear brake calipers with 200 mm rotors
• Front brake lever is Zee, rear brake lever is a Deore. There is almost no difference between the Deore lever and the Zee lever, finish is different, but they feel the same under heavy extensive braking. Rear brake lever is Deore because that interfaced better with the Deore shifter.
• Zee crank, 170 mm arms
• DEITY 35 mm front bar

Only thing pictured that does not come with the bike are the pedals. I'm not selling this bike with any particular pedals.
